So McArdle showed us one of his facebook videos in class today, and I thought it was really touching. We got to see pictures of his friends and family and what he deeply cares about. I really enjoyed McArdle and his class this semester. He taught me that I can be a great writer if I choose to put effort into it, and he's an excellent teacher. : )

Numbers

So there's this number game on facebook, and it's driving me nuts. You send someone a number and and they post in their status what they think about you. So what's the appeal? That you're telling someone how you feel about them over the internet and not in person? I'm a kind of person that if you ask me a question, I'll answer it. I'll tell you the truth and I won't hide from you. So when people send me these numbers, I feel like I should wait until I'm in person to answer them. I dunno, that's just how I am , I guess. :)

This Is Me

I found this quote when I was reading through all of my favorite blogs today. I felt like it just completely described me, and I love it.

You take a while to fall in love with someone. Trust takes time. You tend to give more than you take in relationships. You need your space and privacy. You don't like to be smothered. You stay in love for a long time, even if you aren't loved back. When you fall, you fall hard.

The quote seems kind of depressing to me in a way, but it's also so completely me. So, maybe I'm a depressing person, haha.

lucas oil stadium

My dad's an engineer, and he's really good at what he does. He's always enjoyed playing with Legos, because it's a miniature version of what he does in his job. Plus, he can play with my brother and me also. Anyway, my dad built one of the closest replicas of the Lucas Oil Stadium, and it took him 4 years! He spent $6,000 on this thing! I always laugh when I talk about it because he's the nerdiest dad on Earth, but he's also the coolest. It's a strange thing. : D
